About Me

I'm Ben Tettmar, a UK-based photographer with a focus on documentary, street, and analogue film photography. I first fell in love with photography when my grandad gave me his old DSLR. I ended up picking up a cheap 35mm film camera and fell in love with the analogue process.

I now primarily shoot on 35mm film, favoring natural light and manual processes. My work often explores themes of movement, urban atmosphere, and architectural detail, my recent projects include visual studies of Bath’s Green Park Station and a long-term series on derelict spaces across the southwest of England. I also have a few other smaller projects hidden away, click here if you’re interested!

I'm currently based in Bath, where I’ve begun formal studies at Bath Spa University in photography to deepen my technical skills and refine my creative voice. Alongside personal projects, I take on commissioned work documenting events, such as Defashion Dorset and the Dorset COP climate conference.
