After my grandad passed away a couple of years ago, we were left with boxes upon boxes of slides, negatives and photo albums. He photographed everything, family days out, holidays, small everyday moments, and going through the archive felt like stepping back into those memories.

For my second and final module at university this year, I decided to use his photographs to create three collages. It feels like a nice way to honour my grandad, especially as he was the reason I became a photographer and ended up studying at @bathspaphoto.

He passed away the year before I started university, so he never got to see any of my work. Using his photographs in this project felt like a way of bringing him into it.
